The people behind Halarose

The Management Team

A well-led, strategically managed and customer-focused team that apply the Halarose mission and values to everything they do, ensuring these are embedded in our culture.

 

David Pinnell - Chairman

David is non-executive director who brings wisdom and experience to the team. Formerly the CEO of Zergo Ltd and Senior Vice President of Baltimore Technologies PLC, David now fills his time with us and sitting as a Lay Magistrate.

William Quinton - Managing Director

William is a man who sets high-standards in everything he does and brings an intelligent mind (he has a PhD in Physics from Cambridge University) and a wealth of business administration experience to the company (he was a managing IT consultant at Accenture for six years before joining Halarose in 2005).

Alan Mok - Technical Director

Alan is a popular, easy-going genius, famed for his ability to deal with two problems at the same time. He started at Halarose as a Year in Industry student and was sponsored by Halarose during his degree in Mathematics at the University of Oxford.

Matt Welch - Customer Services Manager

Matt joined the Halarose Support team in 2013, before becoming our Training Manager in August 2015 and Customer Services Manager in June 2016. Matt ensures that the customer support team continues its excellent service which is so highly valued by our customers and consistently receives 100% satisfaction rates.

Mark Nicholls - Head of Business Development

Mark has an extensive range of knowledge and experience in electoral administration matters having worked in both local and central government on election policy for much of the past decade. Mark also spent three years at the Electoral Commission’s Scotland office. This unique background means that Mark is ideally placed to understand the demands on electoral administrators and ensure that our products and services not only meet our customers’ expectations, but also surpass them.

Vinay Neogi - Product Director

Vinay is responsible for the strategy, direction and quality of our products, and is the primary link between our customers and the Development Team. Vinay has a wealth of knowledge and experience at Halarose, joining in 2011 as part of the Support Team, Vinay moved on to become a Tester, followed by Quality Assurance Manager and is now an instrumental part of the Management Team. Away from the office, Vinay enjoys spending time on his motorbike and going caving.

Andrew Rowe - Software Development Manager

Andrew joined Halarose in April 2016 as our Software Development Manager, to lead his team in delivering our customers reliable and high-quality software. Andrew has a wealth of experience behind him, previously working as a Software Development Project Manager in the banking and oil industries.

Support Team

With over one support team member to every ten customers, our knowledgeable team take their time to listen, advise and help solve problems, even going beyond using our software.

 

Business Development Team

The team work internally and externally with existing and potential customers to make sure we are incorporating their needs into everything we do.

 

The Development Team

The ‘engine room’ of Halarose, is a hub of talent and creativity, supported by a rigorous testing team who ensure the software and services we deliver are of the highest quality.

 

The Technical Team

The team focus on hardware and software requirements and installation, combined with an excellent technical support service to our customers.
